Aluminum Base Plates – Compatible with Ninebot G30 & G2

Designed for use as a heat sink for controllers

These high-quality aluminum base plates were developed to provide a stable and thermally conductive base for, for example, VESC controllers of the Ninebot G30 and Ninebot G2 models.

Depending on the model and battery configuration, several variants are available to ensure a precise fit. Thermal adhesive such as EC360 can be used to fasten the controllers. For sealing the plate, we recommend 1mm self-adhesive foam.

  Base plate compatible with G2 models without additional battery compartment extension.

⚠️ Important note on compatibility

The latest version of the battery compartment extension is not available on Printables. Please make sure to select the correct base plate in combination with your existing battery compartment extension, as the components of the old and new generations are not compatible with each other.

Technical notes on the upgrade

By using 3 mm thick aluminum, effective heat dissipation is achieved, as well as holding custom batteries that are not screwed to the frame like the original. The base plates were laser-cut, ensuring a precise fit.

For a permanent connection between the base plate and chassis/controller, the use of thermal adhesive such as EC360 or an equivalent product is recommended. This ensures a firm fixation while simultaneously dissipating heat.

Due to manufacturer-related production tolerances on the Ninebot G2 frame, slight overhangs of the base plate may occur.

Important legal notes on use

The installation and use of tuning or add-on parts without an ABE (general operating permit), E-mark, or other street legal approval leads to the expiration of the vehicle's operating permit. This also invalidates insurance coverage.

The use of these base plates in public road traffic is not permitted and is exclusively at your own risk.

Use is only permitted on private property.
